Woops. Game 7 sort of threw a wrench into my routine. I forgot to say what I did Tuesday, and yesterday I thought about it several times but couldn't muster the focus needed to add so much as an I.O.U.
So on Tuesday, before the game and ensuing celebrations, I went out to Iona and back. The plan was to do more 20min intervals, at a slightly higher intensity. I went about an avg of 5W harder each time, so that all worked out just fine. It doesn't sound like much, but if I can add about 5W every 3 days or so, then I'll be adding about 100W in the next 2 months. That would seem to me like a lot, but I'm no expert. If I'm right though, these workouts are gonna become really difficult, and probably sooner than later. For the entire ride, I did 57.28km in 1:56:02, for an avg speed of 29.6km/h and avg power of 178W (186W normalized). I'm heading out for a group ride this evening, so I guess I'll try and raise the 20min bar again tomorrow.
