Stage 2

Today was pretty much a day off.  It hurt to sit down on my bike, so a short 23km ride was a welcome relief.  Back to longer rides tomorrow.  Nothing too exciting to report.  Rode around a small town, out to the farms and back.  Lots of wind again.  Hopefully I get a tail wind one of these days!

After the short ride we went to watch the race at about 3km from the finish.  The caravan that goes ahead of the race takes about 45-60min to pass, then there's a break, then the riders fly by in a bit of a blur.  Pretty cool to see though.

As for the details of my little ride, I did 23.63km in 50:12 for an avg speed of 28.3km/h and avg power of 161W (179W normalized).  The goal was to keep it pretty slow, but there were lots of people around and I had a hard time not wanting to keep up.

I can barely keep my eyes open now, so that's it for today.  Plus a couple shots from the ride.
