Stage 10

Sorry for the delay, but the internet at my hotel in Albi wasn't working very well.  The day was pretty uneventful.  It was really hot, around 35 degrees C, and on the last categorized climb the pavement was melting and sticking to my tires.  But it was the shortest (non time trial) duration so far, at only around 5.5 hours of riding.  That was mostly because of the net loss in elevation, since I was taking it easy otherwise.  We took lots of breaks and tried to be smart before heading to the Pyrenees for stage 12.

We ended up getting pretty lost in Albi because our planned route was under construction and the one way streets left us out in the sticks.  But we backtracked and managed to wind up at the hotel by accident.

158.4km in 5:33:18 for an avg speed of 28.6km/h and avg power of 129W (174W normalized).  The normalized power is only so high because of all the little hills, two 3's and two 4's.
