Stage 15

We got to the hotel around midnight again the night before, after taking an unplanned tour of Carcassonne looking for a hotel that I'm not convinced really exists.  In the end we found somewhere with one room left.  If the Tour's nearby, basically every hotel is full, so we were pretty happy not to be sleeping in the car.  6 hours of sleep later and we were on our way to Limoux for a transistion stage between the Pyrenees and the Alps.  I was looking forward to a mellow cruise through some vineyards and that's basically what I got.  A couple of small climbs and a nice sunny day.  Only about 3 hours of headwind made it a relatively pain-free day.

The ride into Montpellier was a little sketchy and I had to keep my speed as high as possible in the traffic, so it made for a strong finish, but the day was otherwise pretty relaxed.  And really hot!  Maybe that's why I got lost at one point and added about 10kms of climbing to my day... 205.4km in 7:36:40 for an avg speed of 27.1km/h.
